Ecologi’s collective action plan is to reduce half the world’s emissions by 2040 and we are going to help them to achieve that!

What is Ecologi?

Ecologi gives businesses and individuals the power to fight climate change and quite literally save the world! We all care about our home that is planet Earth and it's not going to save itself so Ecologi pulls the levers that reduce our carbon footprint here at East Coast Locations.

By supporting Ecologi, we aid a broad range of projects that are evidenced to be reducing greenhouse gas emissions. There are enough climate solutions available right now, so by supporting them, we can undo 30 years of carbon damage by avoiding 1,500 billion tonnes of CO2.

Ecologi offers a simple way to fund the world’s best climate crisis solutions and reforest the planet, supercharging our impact over and above just limiting our own damage.

A Climate Positive Workforce 

The team at East Coast Locations and sister company, Sandra Reynolds Model Agency, are now a climate-positive workforce. This means that by investing in the environmental initiative that is Ecologi, we donate to the planting of trees and environmental causes to balance out our carbon footprint and positively make a change for the planet. We are working with Ecologi to offset our entire carbon footprint, including emissions from our homes, office, travel and food to help fund climate-positive projects such as reforestation, renewables and efficient cooking stoves which are all ranked highly in terms of climate change solutions. 

Each month, Ecologi selects different climate projects to fund on behalf of the businesses and individuals. The first two projects that the money from East Coast Locations went to fund were the first-ever wind power project in Honduras and a wind power project in Mexico where we have avoided 7.5 tonnes of CO2.

Other climate offsetting projects funded by Ecologi, include:

• Renewable energy investment
• Forest protection
• Wildlife corridor support
• Cleaning drinking water infrastructure
• Distribution of efficient cooking stoves
